If you talk about food just as much as you eat it, you’re in good company. Thank You, Julia Child for such supporting words.

The Port Harcourt Thing is not just about that oven-baked street slang, or the well-spiced fashion sense, or the daily brewed werey (or as some would call it,  the Wike Vibes) of her citizens,  somewhere between the slangs and the street credibility lies a deep connection of the city with her cultural heritage.

They take pride in their various cultural activities, food festivals being one of them is a sweet spot for everyone within the city. Port Harcourt has always been a host of globally recognized food festivals and Chow Fair is notably one of the festivals that everyone looks forward to.

Making food is an art, those who give you their food give you their heart.

The Jolly edition is the 5th edition of the Chow fair festival and is scheduled for 16 & 17 April 2022. No brags, but the Jolly edition is going to live up to the hype, there would be a display of various varieties of street food and renowned food vendors would be exhibiting and selling diverse native Rivers foods.

From music and stand up comedies to games and firework displays, the event would be marked with various side attractions but most importantly it would be bringing people from all walks of life, Chow Fair is actually beyond the food, it is about building new relationships and strengthening old bonds, meeting new people and talking about new things and yes eating good food too !!

If you really want to make a friend, go to someone’s house and eat with them.

what Nnamdi told Aunty Funke before he started eating her food

So on the 16 & 17th of April we meet, eat and greet.
